The Webhook applet is a very powerful addition to the Velo Applet arsenal, but it is not for the feint-of-heart. If you aren't technically savvy, this Applet will be admittedly difficult to use. However, if you don't mind rolling up your sleeves and getting a little digital grease on your hands, then read on!

The Webhook applet allows you to integrate with the world of Internet-based services. Any external services that provide Webhooks (sometimes called "Integrations") can be connected with Velo.

For example, you could connect Velo to your Twitter account to send a message to a group every time you tweet.

Alternately, you can explore Webhook aggregation services like Zapier or IFTTT, and connect Velo to a massive list of services. The potential is nearly unlimited.

Detailed instructions on how to create and configure Webhook applets are provided on the Velo Developer Portal.
