• Signed out users can sometimes still receive device notifications on iOS

  • Loading more than 500 messages in a group will hide the latest messages. To correct this issue, navigate away and back to the message list, or restart the app.

  • The join/sign-in screen sometimes remembers your phone number after logging out. It is recommended that you ensure your phone number is no longer recalled by the device after you log out.

  • Entering the wrong confirmation code multiple times prevents the correct code from working. Pressing ‘Start over’ and entering your phone number again will resolve this issue.

  • At this time we only support, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif for use as user & group avatars.

  • The following issues can be fixed by restarting your app or a desktop refresh:

    • The join/sign-in screen may sometimes say “The service is unavailable”.

    •  A new Private Chat group may not always appear in your group list.

  • Image uploads are downsized to 3000x3000 pixels upon exceeding the 10MB size limit.

  • When a user is editing a checklist item there is a chance that it will disappear if another user deletes it.

  • Editing a group name may move it down in your group list when the changes are saved.

  • Using certain ad blockers will prevent Velo invitations from working. If you encounter this issue, please turn off your ad blocker and try again.

  • Following a push notification for a message or applet brings you to the bottom of the group message list.

  • A new message indication is improperly given when a group’s member list is altered.

  • URLs within a Memo applet do not automatically open within the Velo app.

  • Desktop specific:

    • Copy & paste does not function well.

  • Mobile specific:

    • Users with over 230 subscriptions will not receive push notifications.

    • Following a valid group or private chat invitation link in the Samsung Internet Browser while Velo is installed does not work, this is due to an external service issue. Using Chrome Browser will resolve this issue.

    • Some devices may not be able to access Google Drive.

  • iOS specific:

    • Offline caching is unsupported on iOS 9.

    • Opening a Velo invitation link in Safari will always take a user to the app store. From there, user can open the app and follow the invitation normally.

    • Upon sign-in, the home screen group tiles may not appear.

    • Upon sign-in, you may be prompted to enter your name again.

  • Previous Version Compatibility Issues (v.1.2 and older):

    • Certain applets created before the v.1.1 release will remain active and pinned, even though they should be expired. Editing the applet will resolve this issue. If the applet creator can not edit it, flagging it as "offensive" will hide it as well.

    • Profile photos uploaded on v.1.0 and later will not appear to users on v.0.9.

    • Photos uploaded to groups on v.1.0 will appear blurry to users on v.0.9.
